Return and Refund Policy

The Joseph Candler, Jr. Memorial Foundation (“we,” “our,” “us”) is a nonprofit organization committed to serving our community. We greatly appreciate your support through donations, event participation, and purchases. Because we operate as a charitable foundation, our return and refund practices are specific to the type of transaction, as outlined below.
1. Donations
- All donations made to the Foundation are considered final and non-refundable.
- If you believe a donation was made in error, please contact us within 7 days of the transaction. We will review the request and, if appropriate, issue a refund using the original payment method.
2. Event Registrations
- Cancellations by Participants: If you register for a paid event and are unable to attend, please notify us at least 7 days prior to the event. Refunds may be issued at our discretion, minus any processing fees.
- Cancellations by the Foundation: If we cancel an event, you will receive a full refund of the registration fee.
- No-Shows:Refunds will not be provided for no-shows.
3. Merchandise (if applicable)
If the Foundation sells merchandise (shirts, books, promotional items, etc.):
- Returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery if the item is unused, unworn, and in its original packaging.
- Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item arrived damaged or incorrect.
- Refunds will be processed once the returned item is received and inspected.
4. Digital Products (if applicable)
- Purchases of digital resources (e-books, templates, or downloads) are non-refundable once the product has been delivered or accessed.
5. Processing Refunds
- Approved refunds will be issued to the original payment method within 7–10 business days.
- We cannot guarantee when your financial institution will make funds available.
